Kim Gordon has always been a big influence when it comes to punk. With her previous line X-GIRL and her new Mirror/Dash Hardy Jacket, she's a fashion inspiration. Not only is Kim musically talented, she definite has an eye for style. Gordon holds an art degree and has been involved with several gallery exhibitions.

Spring/Summer 2011 Glam Punk Fashion Trend???

So the latest fashion news for 2011 says "punk is in"... but was it ever out? You know, it's kind of funny... because I say punk is not a fashion, if anything, it's an individual style. To see punk in the same sentence with "fashion" and "trend" is a bit odd, to me. These runway photos from the linked article are actually quite boring...




...especially in comparison to the NEW YORK DOLLS!!!

Nancy Wilson

Just heard today guitarist Nancy Wilson of Heart will be divorcing Cameron Crowe (wrote the screenplay for Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Almost Famous). I love the way Nancy looked in the 70s/80s. Her Crazy on You acoustic is the best guitar intro ever.

Jennifer Herrema
