Kim Gordon has always been a big influence when it comes to punk. With her previous line X-GIRL and her new Mirror/Dash Hardy Jacket, she's a fashion inspiration. Not only is Kim musically talented, she definite has an eye for style. Gordon holds an art degree and has been involved with several gallery exhibitions.

Spring/Summer 2011 Glam Punk Fashion Trend???

So the latest fashion news for 2011 says "punk is in"... but was it ever out? You know, it's kind of funny... because I say punk is not a fashion, if anything, it's an individual style. To see punk in the same sentence with "fashion" and "trend" is a bit odd, to me. These runway photos from the linked article are actually quite boring...




...especially in comparison to the NEW YORK DOLLS!!!
